It’s been ages since my last post. A good friend/colleague said, “a lot has happened since you said goodbye to Maumoon”. I replied, “my blog existed only to make sure Maumoon fell from power.” Wonderful excuse eh.
Anywayz right now I’m just too disgusted to be quiet. I’ve to say a thing or two about the recent incident involving a pederast and his little boys.
To put it mildly, this is utterly & absolutely appalling. The possibility of him selling the pornographic photos & videos online makes it even more disturbing.
Now, I can launch a ruthless expletive-laden tirade at him but I’ll keep it at a modest “This man is the sickest f**k ever.”
That just about sums it up.
Obviously there’re deeper factors, going beyond a man sexually exploiting numerous kids, that disturb me just as much.
Firstly the cop who spoke for serious and organised crime unit said they took this as a serious crime because of the high number of children involved. It made me gape, literally. What if it was just a single kid? Not serious enough?? What the f**k is wrong with these people? It just shows the lax mentality the authorities have on child abuse. I really would like to hear an explanation from him.
We all know that the question of child abuse have been treated rather mildly in this country. Jail terms were introduced to sex offenders only last year following the public outrage over the gang rape of a 12-year old in 2007, the perpetrators of which were banished to a generous eight months’ exile.
Back to the curious case of Fazeel. Now why was he allowed to practically live together with kids, get them drunk, have sex with them, photograph & video them over such a period of time? This is where accountability of parents & guardians need to be taken into account. It is indeed sad to note that it was only after the issue was brought to light, parents reported genital complications some of those kids had earlier.
Perhaps the most frightening prospect is the extent to which the issue has worsened. This one is as in-your-face as it gets. How many more of such networks would exist here in this close-nit community? Probably a lot. How many more kids are suffering silently in the hands of abusive adults who woo their potential targets with candy, video games & the like? I atleast hope Fazeel becomes a lead to sex offenders linked to him so that the authorities begin cracking down on them very soon.

Our lax attitude is costing us so much.
Even when so many things go wrong in our neighborhood, we tend to keep quiet.
That's our own crime against humanity.
I doubt if they really are serious about this particular case or about any other such cases. Recently people including foreigners were freed just because there was an ‘error’ or they simply ‘forgot’ to extend their detention period while still the investigation was going on. The foreigner even flew out of the country. This pedophile may get lucky and get away as well from such a “mistake’ by the authorities.

Actually - the police boys didn’t think the perpetrator was serious until he said “I mean business”

i dont like the use of that phrase associated with that pervert in the title. its a phrase taken from a beautiful movie and not suitable for this heinous individual!!
rysh, i deliberately made reference to the movie cos this is a curious, indeed a shockingly curious case. but hey the title is the least of our concerns eh. our kids are at stake...
