Well, they aint exactly the same, eh. i mean one is 7 Eleven, the other is 7 Weeks. one has an orange stripe while the other yellow. one's got a circle in the centre. so it could only be a coincidence!
the 7 Eleven scandal of many moons ago is still fresh in our minds. this time they're playing it rather safe!!

ive wondered abt that too the day i saww that shop. the huge resemblance it had to seven eleven. i even wondered if we were now having a branch of seven eleven here in male'.

it amazes me of how these kinda coincidences happen. i mean, a person having an idea of something exactly or very close to the other person's idea. makes me wonder, haadha gina eh vetharu meehun ves ulheyneyey dho. pispis. one piece ves veveykah neih viyya. HMPH!
so whats the significance of 7 weeks??? 7-11 was called that cause they were originally open from 7am to 11pm. does this mean that 7 weeks is open for 7 weeks straight and then closes for another 7 weeks? is that why there is another 2 there?

there was an exact copy of seven eleven stores in male' some years back. and they were in very good business...but later all were closed down.
this time its much better...theyve managed to 'change' things a lil bit. but we still cant compete with our neighbouring india in that. they have all sorts fake named products and shops. i wonder if there is any connection between the famous (in india) "Kwality Walls" (yes thats how its spelt, not quality) and the world famous "walls" ice cream companies. both have the same kinda logo.
Aaah I see moyameehaa beat me to it, hehe. Was just gonna say the same thing.
They closed down those (very successful) stores because they got into trouble for using the copyright label without permission apparently... pretty long back I think
