gosh, I’m having bloggers’ block. just lacking a bit of motivation. It happens sometimes.
BUT a message from wataniya jolted me into action today.
It was a message introducing a rather weird service unlike any other provided by a telecom company or any other company for that matter. Seriously. I thought "what? how on earth is this possibly possible??"
Ok. Here’s how it all went in chronological order.
1514: "Introducing AskWataniya. Now get answers to any general question you may have. Just ask anything and we will answer you. Type your question and send to 4177”
Needless to say it triggered my curiosity enough to send one. I sent an age old question in the hope that wataniya would finally settle it once & for all: "Which came first, chicken or the egg?”
1517: “AskWataniya is a fun service. Whilst every effort is made to provide you with correct information, we cannot guarantee the validity of the answer provided.”
1528: “We are sorry for the delay in responding to your question due to the high demand for the service. You will receive your answer at the earliest opportunity.”
and just when I decided to give up they responded again after 1 ½ hrs. newspaper ad promises an answer in no more than 10 mins.
1706: “cock comes first. If you’re getting hungry, eggs are first, for breakfast and chicken is se”
yes, that’s the exact text. truncated possibly.
Oh well, disappointing indeed. But hey let’s not be all too critical. They just started it & it’s a wonderful initiative.
So all you dhiraagu users, if you’re seeking answers to life’s toughest questions, just switch!
p.s. speaking of egg or chicken (cock in this case) bubbletoes brought it up in her latest post as well. That was probably why it came to my mind today so suddenly. The most fascinating interpretation I’ve come across of it so far is believers of creation will think chicken came first, believers of evolution will think otherwise. brilliant!

ask wataniya
I always figured it was the chickens... but then the dinosaurs ate all of them and only a few eggs were left after the impromptu buffet and that's why both the chicken and the egg came first and everything tastes like chicken?!
I believe dinosaurs were too chicken(fossil evidence shows, Dinosaurs have a fantasy of sticking feathers to their butt). Therefore,and yes inadvertently, they laid a sissy animal called chick-a-saur. And from their dissents came chickens.Hmmm... i wonder my hypothesis could make to school text books in future. i may copy protect it.
